The Miami HEAT paid homage to their roots in the 2013-14 season by donning the road Hardwood Classics uniforms from the 1988-89 season, their first year in the NBA. The uniforms were updated with the more contemporary dazzle fabric and the darker HWC colored NBA logo, yet the Jerseys sill retained that late 80's and early 90's HEAT aesthetic. The 2013-14 HEAT were the 2x defending champions and made it to a third NBA Finals appearance that season.
